Developing Strengths

I plan to further develop my talent themes into strengths while in college through the various of organizations I am in.

  • I currently hold the following postions in the activities I am apart of:

    • Member, 100 Collegiate Women of America

    • Rising Tier 3 Student, Southern Leaders Program

    • Inductee, National Council of Negro Women

    • Sponsor & Director of Recruitment, Minority Advisement Program

    • Parliamentarian, National Association for the Advancement of Colored People

With these roles come great responsibility, developing my strengths more can benefit me and my organizations. Just based on the activities I do, I can develop many skills. I can develop strategic thinking and relationship-building skills, which is an area where I lack. Strategic thinkers think analytically and about the future. As a become more involved with MAP, I am noticing that they like to plan a semester ahead. Far as relationship building, NCNW and C100 women are big on sisterhood, so through bonding events and other activities, I can develop the talent themes of empathy, harmony, etc.
