About Me

Born in Atlanta, Georgia, my name is Monique Edwards, and I am a first-generation college student majoring in Criminal Justice here at the Georgia Southern University. Over the past few years, with dreams of one day becoming a lawyer, I have come to realize that my purpose is to serve my community and mentor others. Through interning with the Fulton County Solicitor General’s Office, playing the violin for years, and having the opportunity to travel, I have learned much about myself. One thing that I have learned and that LEAD 1000 and 2000 has assured me of is that I am a unique emerging leader who can take on any challenge.
